FAQ FOR WEDDINGS
What's the First Step?
Contact me and we will talk. I will verify that your date is available. If you want to reserve the date. I will need $100 non-refundable deposit to hold it for you. We will then schedule a consult to discuss the details of your wedding. We can meet for a cup of coffee or even walk through your venue during our meeting. I want to hear any ideas that you have for your wedding photos and the dreams you have for the day.
How much time do the pictures actually take?
Creativity takes more time than run-of-the-mill traditional shots. Optimally, I like to schedule 2 hours for posed photos, 30 minutes each for: bride & groom, bridesmaids, groomsmen, and family. This is why my smallest package is 4 hours. I am not satisfied until I know I have several good shots of all the key people.

How do the finances work?
​The $100 deposit required for booking is applied to your package. Half of the total is due 6 months before the wedding. The final payment is due on or before the wedding day. I can accept payment in cash, check or via paypal.

Are the photos on my DVD proofs?
No. The photos on your DVD are fully edited and ready to print. You can expect your images to reflect the same editing styles seen in the sample work.

How soon will I get my images?
30 days after the wedding, the images will be loaded into your online gallery. You will receive your disk with your package items all at one time. You may opt to have a sneek peek on Facebook in the few days after the wedding.

I have ideas of my own. Can we try them?
Absolutely. I have people call me with ideas, email me pictures, or send me their pinterest collection all the time! I love to know just what you want!

Can we take pictures somewhere other than the ceremony site?
Absolutely! I do this with many couples and many find it to be one of the most enjoyable parts of their day. It is a relaxing time for them to focus on each other. We can plan to shoot your photos virtually anywhere you would like: urban, old building, refurbished buildings, parkland setting, barn, or a rustic field.

How do I order my pictures?
You can order them from my website, make an appointment to sit down with me, or download from the website and order from your location of choice. I highly recommend MPIX.com or another professional printing company. You WILL see a difference between the prints you get from a pro-lab and your local store. Be sure you have your print release with you if you print locally. They will ask!

Who chooses the pictures that go in my album?
I, as the artist, choose how the album is laid out. I mock up a preview for you to review and change. You get the final say about what goes in your album.

Can I get Thank You cards?
Yes. I make custom announcements. They are 5x7, double-sided cards with 4-5 images and any message you would like. I usually leave a place on them for you to write a personal note with super-fine sharpie. They come in packs of 25 for $30.

Can I post my photos to facebook?
Yes you can. Your photos are yours to use for any personal use you deem worthy. Please tag me or give me some cred if you do. Thanks!
