FAQ FOR FAMILIES
What's the First Step?
Contact me and we will talk. I want to hear any ideas that you have for your session and what you are hoping to do with your images. We can go basic to ultra-creative with your session. It is up to you.
How should we dress?
Coordinate your clothes, but please don't match everyone perfectly. Select three colors that work well together and have everyone wear one or two of those colors. Don't be afraid to accessorize. That is sometimes the best way to get outfits to coordinate. Also, make good use of patterns, but avoid stripes {they are distracting in pictures}. If you have any cute hats, boots, vest, jacket for your kids, now is the time to bring them out. Please let me know if you want more help with this!

What do you expect from parents?
I will use parents as props and extra hands for babies. For young kids who are struggling, I like the parent's help in getting them to smile. However, our session is not the time to make your child mind. If they are set against a certain pose, I would rather change my idea than force them {the rest of the pictures are a flop if there is a war between parent and child}.

We have ideas of our own. Can we try them?
Absolutely. I have people call me with ideas, email me pictures, or send me their pinterest collection all the time! I love to know just what you want!

Do you offer gift certificates?
Yes. In any amount. Just contact me!

How do I order my pictures?
You can order them from my website, make an appointment to sit down with me, or download from the website and order from your location of choice. I highly recommend MPIX.com or another professional printing company. You WILL see a difference between the prints you get from a pro-lab and your local store. Be sure you have your print release with you if you print locally. They will ask!

Can I get Christmas cards from our session?
Yes. I make custom announcements. They are 5x7, double-sided cards with 4-5 images of your family and any message you would like. They come in packs of 25 for $30.

Can I post my photos to facebook?
Yes you can. Your photos are yours to use for any personal use you deem worthy. Please tag me or give me some cred if you do. Thanks!

What equipment do you use?
Canon 7D, EFS 17-55mm lens, and 70-200mm lens
